He joined the team in 2020 following a trusted recommendation—and quickly proved to be an invaluable asset. Known for his leadership, reliability, and willingness to teach, Tim plays a key role in keeping our wildlife control operations running smoothly.

Wildlife Control Technician

Shane quickly became a dependable part of our operations after joining the team in 2024. He brings focus, effective techniques, and a strong work ethic to every wildlife control job in the field. With a background in construction and a passion for the outdoors, Shane is a fast learner and a natural fit for the work we do. Whether responding to complex situations or routine calls, he’s always ready to get the job done right.
Jake Young
Foreman - Wildlife Habitat Division

Jake spends most of his time in the field, managing wildlife habitats and stepping in to assist with control efforts when needed. He joined the team in 2020 while studying at SUNY Cobleskill, and after graduating in 2021, brought his skills and strong work ethic to work. His work focuses on controlling invasive species, restoring native vegetation, and assessing habitat conditions. Jake’s dedication made it an easy decision to name him Foreman of the Wildlife Habitat Division.

Jake Witte
Wildlife Habitat Technician
Jake joined us in the spring of 2024, bringing a strong foundation in wildlife, conservation biology, and ecology from his studies at SUNY ESF. Before returning to New York from Missouri, he worked as a ranch hand and hunting guide, gaining valuable hands-on experience in land and wildlife management. Now serving as a conservation contractor, Jake is known for his strong work ethic, adaptability, and commitment to the mission—making him a valuable part of the team.

Bill Vogt
Jack-of-all-trades
Bill has been with us since 2017 and, while currently part-time, we’re hoping to see more of him around in the near future. Known as our “jack-of-all-trades,” Bill is the go-to guy when our trucks or equipment need maintenance—and you’ll catch him in the field lending a hand (or showing the guys how it’s really done). His mechanical know-how, reliability, and willingness to jump in wherever needed make him a valuable asset to West Wildlife.

Emily Schwerzler
Office Manager

Emily joined us in 2025, bringing over eight years of administrative experience and a talent for keeping operations running smoothly. As Office Manager, she plays a key behind-the-scenes role—creating effective schedules for the team, answering calls, and providing helpful responses to client questions. While the public sees our field staff working directly with wildlife, it’s Emily’s organization, strategic thinking, and attention to detail that keep everything on track.
